Each phase has a specific purpose. Most clients start with Phase 1 (the 10-day detox) and continue into Phase 2. The full six-phase programme produces the most dramatic long-term results.

The CSN eating plan is structured — not a list of “allowed foods” but a full day-by-day plan provided when you order. Phase 1 (the detox) is the strictest phase. As you move through the phases, the food range expands significantly.

The plan is built around real South African food. No imported health products. No meal replacements. No protein shakes unless you choose to use them. You can eat at braais. You can eat at restaurants. The structure is flexible enough for real life if you follow it correctly.

  • How does the CSN diet work exactly?
    The CSN diet works by combining a structured six-phase eating plan with three natural supplements (CSN Health Mix, Barley Grass, and AloeMag). The eating plan restricts processed foods, refined sugars, and certain food groups in the early phases — this, combined with the supplements, triggers the body’s natural fat-burning process. No calorie counting, no weighing food, no exercise required. You follow the plan and Karien coaches you through it via WhatsApp.
  • How many phases does the CSN diet have?
    The full CSN programme has six phases. Phase 1 is the 10-day detox. Phase 2 is the 30-day programme. Phases 3–6 are the extended transformation and maintenance phases. Most clients start with Phase 1 to test the programme before committing to the full six phases. The phase guide and eating plan for all six phases is provided when you order through Karien.
  • What are the three CSN supplements and do I need all of them?
    The three supplements are CSN Health Mix (the core supplement, available as tablets, capsules, or soup), CSN Barley Grass (energy and amino acid support), and CSN AloeMag (natural detox and digestive support). All three are designed to work together as a system. The 10-day detox and 30-day packages both include all three. Taking only one or two products does not replicate the full programme.
  • Is exercise required on the CSN programme?
    No. Exercise is not part of the active CSN programme phases. In fact, intense exercise during the detox phase is specifically not recommended — it can interfere with the fat-burning process and cause fatigue. Light walking is fine.     The 10-day detox typically produces 3–6 kg for women in the 70–90 kg range, and up to 10 kg for heavier men. Results depend on starting weight and strict adherence to the Phase 1 eating plan.     Neither. CSN is a structured eating programme with supporting supplements. You eat real food throughout the programme — the supplements support the eating plan, they do not replace meals.   • Can I do the CSN diet if I have diabetes or other health conditions?
